Overtraining

Me thinks I'm overtraining. I religiously track everything I do on my iPhone using GymGoal+. Partly because I read that in weightlifting you can't see where you're going if you don't know where you've been. Sounds reasonable right?

And looking at my history, I see that I've only taken 1 day off for almost 2 weeks. My four days on, one day off routine seems to have flown out the window recently.

Another clue that I'm overtraining is that my deadlift has jumped in both 1 rep max weight and total weight lifted even though I haven't done deadlifts in almost 3 weeks. Weird. I do hate deadlifts. But up until a few weeks ago I was pretty diligent with them once a week. For me to jump 5 kg even though I should be a little rusty must mean that I'm working out too much right?

Or could it be that my recent extra effort to build up my upper back and shoulders is paying of in other areas? Hmm. I wish the human body had a diagnostics center where I could just look up the answers.
